DeKalb Medical Society Mission

The DeKalb Medical Society is an association of DeKalb physicians whose mission is to promote excellence in healthcare and the betterment of the health of the citizens of DeKalb County. The purposes in support of this mission are:

	To encourage the highest quality of care provided by its members
	To promote the highest quality of healthcare to the community
	To provide services which meet the needs of its members
	To support and promote the doctor/patient relationship and the freedom of choice by both physicians and patients
	To serve as a forum for healthcare information
	To represent common healthcare concerns in the legislature
	To maintain and provide an organization with the high standards necessary to fulfill the above purposes
